Saw bodies |
|
| Each year, we work 300 tonnes of cold rolled strip blanks into precision- lasered saw bodies for carbide tipped circular saw blades. We expressly emphasise that we exclusively use German 75Cr1 cold rolled strip, material number 1.2003. State-of-the-art laser cutting technology guarantees maximum quality for our saw bodies. The nitrogen laser results in a scale-free surface. The insert seat of our saw bodies need not be processed any further. |

| Many hundreds of saw bodies of a great variety of dimensions and designs leave our plant each day. |

| All work processes are optimised to save time and reduce costs. Here is how the cutting procedure in a clamp works: The outside contour, expansion slot, borehole as well as any tappet holes, key slots and sound reductions slots which may be required are lasered to completion in a single step. | Laser cutting procedure |
| Time must be taken for additional operating sequences which increase the quality of our products. Heat treatment after the laser cutting reduces the tension of the material and makes a decisive contribution in optimising the product. Incidentally: Walter is a demanding customer, too. This heat treatment oven was specially configured according to our specifications. |
